Cre-8 or Die 3 back in 2011 was about my old friend Corey Pierce and the success he was experiencing drumming for his metal band God Forbid! Updating this for 2016, Corey and the band have gone their separate ways. Now Corey says he is “producing and booking NJ local and underground bands. Booking at Court Tavern in New Brunswick.” Corey’s been saying he wants to get back on the board again and I’m hoping that happens and we can skate together! Corey Pierce is a Rock Star! Corey’s from Franklin Township. When he wasn’t skatin’ or hangin’ at ABF, he was playin’ the drums. In 1996 Corey and some friends started metal band ‘God Forbid’. They played Ozzfest in 2004, headlined the 2007 Chains of Humanity Tour, and played the No Fear Energy Music Tour in 2009. They’ve released 5 studio albums, and a DVD.
